IT’S BLOOMIN’ CRAZY!!!
Spring has sprung! Nasal passages are filled with natures bounty (yuck)! Leaves are popping on the trees faster than at any time in the last twelve years I have lived up here. We have had to start yard service a full month earlier than last year. It has still been chilly in the evening and, even though I know some of you really like that, I am ready for the full change of season. Where is summer’s warm embrace? Mother Nature can be such a fickle mistress but we love her anyway. On the pleasant side the dogwoods are beautiful at this time, even thought they are just past peak. The native wild Azaleas are blooming from deep yellow to glorious orange, depending on soil conditions. Trillium is up and blooming. The pink Lady Slippers behind my woodpile are flowering as well, until the deer get to them. Spring is probably the best season despite the aforementioned throat constricting pollen fog. The intense flower and leaf production of spring inspires one with the renewing beauty it brings, rescuing us from the stark, gray doldrums of winter’s nakedness. Fall and winter’s rains have successfully recharged the area’s underground rivers. The denizens of the forest greedily imbibe life’s only required liquid in an effort to regenerate the greenery which activates nature’s most efficient solar collectors in order to fulfill their reproductive mandate. Once procreation is achieved and the generational seeding completed, the flora can resume the comparatively mundane task of leaf and limb production in a laborious attempt to continue the wondrous cycle of life that sustains us all. Don’t forget to take a moment to stop and revel in the beauty of the cycles with the child-like wonderment of our bygone youth.

How’s the View?
With pollen season soon drawing to a close we are beginning to schedule our window cleaning services. Whenever possible we try to put off window washing until the end of pollen season as a window covered in yellow tends to negate the cleaning we just completed. At times it isn’t possible for one reason or another but we always make the suggestion. With that said we are about to be knee deep in window washing and want to get yours done as well. Contact us for a quote and scheduling so you can truly enjoy that unobstructed view you love so much!
…a note from Cindy
A your thoughts turn to “them thar hills” and you gear up for the various holidays that occur during the languid days of summer, please keep us in mind when making your plans. Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are our busiest times as far as customer request for services are concerned. We understand that familial coordination and planning escape from life’s labors fill ones mind when contemplating a visit to our fair neck of the woods. Just drop us a note or a call as to when you (gasp!) plan to leave so that we may attend your needs in the most expeditious manner possible. Scheduling does tend to be a bit hectic at these times but not to worry, we will accommodate all who seek our services. After all, your satisfaction is our only business!
